    This meeting is in conjunction with the Carnegie Mellon West Coast Campus, Center for Engineered Innovation, Carnegie Mellon University and the Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association of N. CA. A hearty welcome to them!


    About the Presenter

    Claas joined Deutsche Telekom in 1995 and held a variety of management positions. He joined T-Venture in Bonn, Germany in 2001 after serving as an outside advisor since 1997. Claas moved to the US and became Managing Director at T-Venture of America in 2002. T-Venture is the corporate venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom group, which also includes T-Mobile.

    Claas is a member of the VC-Angel Roundtable, a chairperson in the German-American Business Association of California, and member of the steering committee of the Service Provider Investment Forum. He is on the advisory boards of Cal-IT and the Golden Capital Network as well. Claas is a graduate of NVCA’s Venture Capital Institute.
