Gaming has emerged as a major category in the venture capital market. The gaming business is now bigger than the movie business. Games have transitioned from single player games on dedicated consoles to simultaneous users throughout the world on the Internet, such as World of Warcraft, which is now a $1 billion business all by itself. Zynga was recently touted as the fastest growing company in the history of Kleiner Perkins, and has since stumbled on the public markets. Come hear our panelists on November 6, discuss trends they see in the gaming market and where they think the industry is headed.
