The Dot-Com boom is over. Done. There are some people who think that the only people who made money were venture capitalists and investment bankers, and that companies are losing money on Internet-based businesses. Well, they're wrong.

As it turns out, the Internet is a great place to sell stuff, a great way to reach out to new customers, and a great way to make money... if you have a business model that works. It's true that the Internet isn't the be-all and end-all to every business process known to man, but it does provide some advantages in certain markets and certain business functions.

A few strong companies have created innovative services, and benefit from the network effects of a large, viral community of online customers. Come hear from these companies, who have succeeded against the odds and find out the path they took to reach revenues (and sometimes even profits).

Come and network with like-minded professionals. To facilitate your networking, pre-registered members can include a 50-word description about a job opening, services offered, etc. To be included, send your name, preferred contact information and a 50-word (or less) description to karen@sdforum.org by 5:00pm on November 13th.

PLUS! Ten of you will have 30-seconds with the microphone to announce the ideal job you're looking for, open positions, new products, etc.

Bring your appetite: A large assortment of appetizers and hot hors d'oeuvres will be served, along with a no-host bar. Pre-paid guests will receive one complimentary drink coupon.
