    For the first time, voice, data and streaming multimedia will be delivered on an IP based wireless infrastructure. There are lots of talks about what 4G networks like LTE and WiMAX open up the doors for a lot of new applications and opportunities.  Imagine streaming 1080p HDTV at 100 Mbps/s, or playing a HD Xbox or Playstation 3 game remotely between two players.

    Moore law continues to provide better price performance to mobile devices. Social networking changes the ways people to communicate. New Smartphone apps continue to demand extraordinary wireless bandwidth. All these drivers for the mobile Internet traffic explosion require enormous network infrastructure change. This also provides tremendous opportunities to service provider to monetize the Internet to stop the erosion of ARPU. In this presentation, Trinh Ngo, who currently works for WiChorus, is an industry veteran in the telecom industry in both wireline and wireless will help us explore the network transformation from the radio access network in the old days, to the current wireless backhaul network, and to the up-and-coming packet core network. This presentation will help mobile software and hardware developers, investors and seasoned-telecom veterans alike a better understanding what opportunities lies ahead in this revolution.

He has worked as Software engineer, Software development and System development manager, Strategic marketing Manager, Senior & Director Product manager at telecommunication companies (established and startups) in Europe and USA, involving in diverse networking technology (Message Handling, Packet switching, OSI, ISDN, ATM, Frame Relay, Optical networking, IP/MPLS routing and switching, IPTV and 3G/4G Mobile networking).

    Today at WiChorus, as director of product management, his focus is on 3G/4G products covering 3G HSPA, 4G WiMAX and LTE.
