    Company Overview

    XIM Inc., a California Corporation established in 1994 and headquartered in San Francisco, CA, is a diversified software development, application testing and systems integration organization. In the past 10 years XIM has engaged in projects supporting ISV's and OEM's, as well as end users in various 'verticals', including Wireless/Mobile field.

    XIM's expertise includes but is not limited to the following technologies: Java (J2ME), BREW, Symbian, C, C++, C#. The teams experience include:

    • Projects for a variety of vendors involving application integration and testing for MMS, SMS, Browsers, etc.
    • Full lifecycle product testing, including carrier labs in the United States and Europe, as well as field testing
    • Localization projects for the European and Asian markets
    • Developing specialized application test harnesses for mainstream and custom software products in the mobile and enterprise spaces

    About the Presenter

    Eugene Poznikov, VP, Professional Services, XIM, Inc.

    For the past 11 years, before joining XIM early in 2003, Mr. Poznikov held leadership positions in various companies in the Bay Area. His experience comes from setting up and executing customer projects in the telecommunications, supply-chain and financial industries. A short list of clients includes: AT&T, Motorola, Compaq, Kodak, Nokia, Palm, C.Schwab, Exel Logistics, Maxtor and others. He was instrumental in defining product marketing and deployment strategies for Andrew Corporation VSAT solutions in 1993 for Eastern Europe and Russia. Between 1994 and 1998 he lead the development and deployment of one of the largest private customer supply-chain networks for Exel Logistics - still the backbone for this 30-thousand employee company. From 1998 on-ward Eugene held director positions and led projects primarily in the B2B/ASP area - defining and executing product strategy of 3 local startups. He is a graduate of Moscow State University and holds a Telecom MBA from University of San Francisco.
