    Paratrooper Marketing ™ Workshop

This workshop will outline and provide examples of how and why Paratrooper Marketing works. The methodology replaces the classic cold call. Paratrooper Marketing helps you establish healthy business relationships with ALL of your prospective customers – whether they buy from you in this quarter, or some future quarter – or both. Likewise, it starts a partnership relationship on the right foot.

Overview for the Paratrooper Marketing™ Workshop

Paratrooper Marketing replaces the classic cold call, and generates more meetings with prospective customers/clients and targeted business partnerships than the classic cold call would. But it goes beyond that. The methodology establishes a positive vibe about your company, even if you don’t get a meeting on the first or second pass.

The majority of professional sales people are taught, at some point(s) in their careers, some version of the cold call in order to establish a connection with prospective customers. Some companies even have a team of telemarketers. The play and the film Glengary Glen Ross is a wonderful demonstration of a (distastefully) classic cold call environment. Perhaps the cold call is a valid approach to generating revenue in cases where you sell something to the customer only once, where an ongoing business relationship is not at all important. But in cases where an ongoing business relationship is important if not critical to the success of your business, and especially so in cases where you are trying to generate your first set of customers, the cold call will outright damage your relationship with the majority of prospective customers before you are even aware of it.

Paratrooper Marketing is different. It helps you establish healthy business relationships with ALL of your prospective customers – whether they buy from you in this quarter, or some other quarter or year. And for companies that are in their infancy, Paratrooper Marketing plays an even bigger role. The start up team may not have any sales skills in house, and/or the product or service is not fully baked yet. But executed correctly, Paratrooper Marketing will generate those first, crucial meetings and business relationships by virtually any member of the start up team.
