    Kelly Dempski, Director of Accenture Technology Labs in Silicon Valley, has spent the last several years promoting social media to a wide range of clients in both the US and Europe. He has had the opportunity to speak to a spectrum of business leaders, ranging from Swiss bankers to Silicon Valley start-ups. In this presentation, Kelly will share some of the lessons learned along the way, and give real world examples of how different industries and geographies view the opportunities and risks of social media. Some of the themes we’ll explore will include data privacy, the applicability and timeliness of social media to different industries, social media for B2B, the difference between perceived and actual risks, and how much anyone actually controls their brand.
