Harvard Business Review Calls Blogs "A Breakthrough Idea For 2005 while BusinessWeek calls blogging one of the year's hottest technologies. There are now 6 million of blogs, according to blog search engine, Technorati , with over 12,000 added daily, and "that's probably only half the total." High tech companies from Cisco from to Red Hat now beginning to use blogs as part of their marketing mix.
This program will help you understand, what's all the fuss about, what blogs are -- and aren't, how they are being used in high tech marketing, what you need to consider before start, plus next steps, extra resources for getting started.
About the Presenter
Robin D. Stavisky is founder and Managing Partner of New Venture Marketing, a boutique marketing and communications firm, specializing in Internet marketing and PR for high tech companies. Robin writes and speaks on the use new (and old) media and how they can be applied by high tech companies. Her firm has provided strategic counsel to over 70 high-growth technology companies, including: Wind River Systems, Lucent Bell Labs, NTI & TGV (now Cisco), WIPRO, Walden Capital, Cirrus Logic, the ETRE & ATRE (European and Asian Computer conferences), Jupiter Systems, Link Silicon Valley. Robin has an MBA from Stanford.
