Milestones play an important role in every emerging growth company - especially when it comes to funding. Milestones are discussed before you get your first round of funding - "What are you going to accomplish with this $2 million?". And, they come up again when you try to get your second round - "What did you do with the last round, and what will you accomplish with another $10 million?"

You need to be able to set realistic milestones to effectively grow your venture and prove that you can use the money well. Learn how a solid market development process can guide you through development or entry into new market segments and keep your whole growth dynamics on track. Russ Jones, General Partner with The NuVantage Group will walk you through a market development framework. Randy Whiting, Managing Partner of Brownstone Ventures will talk about the critical market development milestones that seed and venture investors look for in a business plan.

This seminar is designed for early-stage management teams and project teams of technology companies who are taking an idea through staged development to market. In this seminar you will learn:

    • How to think about and structure the market development process
    • The critical milestones required for each stage of development
    • The right level of business model detail required at each stage
