VF SIG: Angel Panel & Pitch Meeting
Come learn what it takes to get the right kind of angel investors on your team and what they like and don't like about the companies presenting.
Angel Panel & Pitch Meeting
Will seed capital return in 2003? Ring in the New Year at SDForum's Venture Finance SIG, and hear five entrepreneurs pitch to a panel of angel investors that have been on the other side of the table and offer a lot more than money to the start-ups they chose to work with. Learn what it takes to get the right kind of angel investors on your team and what they like and don't like about the companies presenting. Valuable advice for anyone looking for funding, but particularly so to the fearless entrepreneurs willing to get up and pitch! Our January workshop will feature pre-selected entrepreneurs who will have ten minutes to pitch their startup and get some feedback from our panel, as well as a shot at that elusive seed round of funding.
Want to pitch?
If you are interested in presenting, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and provide a 2-3 page executive summary or brief description of your startup or startup concept. Please include founder(s) bio and relevant team/advisor information.
The deadline is Friday, January 10th of 2003 - early submissions are encouraged.
