Mike Johnson was recently invited to the SDForum Marketing SIG to give guidance on how to control the sales process. Michael Johnson Sales Solutions helps startups and established companies secure customers and ramp up revenues through sales evaluation, training and coaching. Before starting his consulting business, Mike enjoyed a successful sales career for over 25 years. While at General Electric for ten years, he held sales and sales management positions, and received many sales honors including the Chairman's Award for Outstanding Performance. Mike also developed and taught sales skills courses to GE employees. Later, Mike ran his own electronics manufacturers' rep firm, which he led until 1999. Mike earned a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, and taught these subjects at the University of Kentucky Prior to joining General Electric. He also is the holder of two United States patents. Mike is an officer of the Association for Corporate Growth.
