There are many aspects to a fundable business - having a solid business model, understanding where you fit against your competition, and more. This seminar will touch on the key parts of a fundable business, and more importantly how you convey that through your executive summary and your business plan. Kathleen Borie of PriceWaterhouseCoopers will show you the same information that they share with their clients on what's needed and how to get to that next round of funding.
In addition, come hear from a panel of entrepreneurs who have raised money offer their insights from the trenches. One panelist, Suzy Brown, founder and CEO of Atlantes, will share her experience of getting a series of no's which caused her and her partner to take a good hard look at their business. After having done so, they rebuilt their model and rewrote their business plan. Just recently, Atlantes landed their Series A round of funding.
This seminar is designed for executive teams and founding members of early-stage companies who are looking to build a solid business through venture funding. In this seminar you will learn:
- Timely information on current funding trends (data from the PWC Money Tree Report)
- Key aspects that investors look for in executive summaries and business plans
- How to utilize your information and skills that will lead to success in the funding process
