    Presentation Overview:

    Event Planners: The Ultimate Collaborators

What does it take to get people to collaborate and work together? What are the techniques, skills, and tools that effect a smooth and seamless coordination and collaboration of talent to ensure a successful end result?

We considered the notion and decided to ask the experts whose job it is to coordinate and produce an end result. They regularly cause collaboration to happen with an ever changing and broad variety of participants, locations, vendors, suppliers, equipment, materials, attendees and audiences. They are event planners.

The people dynamics of collaboration is often overlooked in the quest for the next cool technical tool to use to expedite and improve communications and the transfer of knowledge among cooperating groups and people.

However, it’s the aspect of interpersonal collaboration and cooperation that engenders the most problems in the process of getting things done as a flotilla of management consultants will readily testify.

Come and join in on a conversation about what works and what doesn’t in the collaboration process between and among individuals and groups. Explore the requisite soft skills needed for effective collaboration. Find out what to do when all else fails or Murphy’s Law takes hold.

Our panelists successfully plan, organize and implement weddings, corporate events, business networking groups, and social gatherings. They are collaboration experts.
