In September, 1999, Elliott Dahan started operation of The Growth Group, an Internet Consultancy, which provides funding assistance, marketing, business development and corporate strategy direction for Growth companies.
In February, 2001, Mr. Dahan joined the Board of Advisors of AdaptiveInfo, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent wireless specific Personalization technology and applications and winner of the “Best In Show” award at CTIA 2000. From September, 1999 until May, 2001 Mr. Dahan served on the Board of Advisors to 2Roam, a wireless internet solution company, (2Roam was acquired by Air2Web in March, 2002).
Mr. Dahan served as Vice President of Business Development for Online Anywhere, a wireless internet company sold to Yahoo in June, 1999 and kept intact as the Yahoo Everywhere division. Previous to Online Anywhere he served as Microsoft’s Director of Development/Silicon Valley, responsible for Microsoft's relationships with the venture capital and startup communities in Silicon Valley. (Investments included ShareWave, acquired by Cirrus Logic in October, 2001 and Elemental Software, acquired by Macromedia in October, 1999).
Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Dahan held a similar position as Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Compton's/Tribune Company, recommending investment in companies such as Mosaic and eShop. He has held executive level business development and marketing positions with Atari Corp., Creative Software and various startups.
Mr. Dahan brought sponsorship endorsement from both The Tribune Company and Microsoft to the San Jose Software Business Cluster and he has served on the Board of Cluster since its inception in 1995.
Mr. Dahan holds an MBA in Marketing from New York University and a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina.
