Kick Start Your Career Transition
Do you want out of high-tech? Do you want in? Maybe you’re just looking for the best career path that matches your skills and interest. Join us for this energizing workshop brimming with great ideas, tools and tips to get your career transition going and keep it going.
The keys to a successful career transition are knowing what you want, having a plan to get it, and then executing that plan. Sound simple? Not so. If knowing "how" to do something were enough by itself we'd all be rich and thin!
This session will help you figure out how your skills and interest translate into a new career path. Whether you're in marketing or engineering, high tech or manufacturing, this workshop will help you find out where you'll fit next.
In addition to gaining insight and direction, this interactive workshop will give you the inspiration, and the means to achieve your goals. You'll leave this workshop knowing:
- How to effectively use informational meetings.
- How listening can be your most powerful career transition tool.
- The top 6 qualities that hiring managers value. (Hint: Technical skills aren’t #1)
- How to make your resume a magnet for future opportunities.
