The Role of the Founder in Sales - Selling, Hiring, and Delegating
What is the role of the founder in sales? Some founders, like Tom Siebel, may be great salesmen. Others, like Bill Gates, may not. Yet all founders must play a critical role in the sales of a young company, and to see that role evolve as their company grows.
Come hear Rick Wolff's observations on the dynamic role of the founder in the sales process, gathered over decades of sales experience with companies such as Accenture, IBM, and his current company, Willow Wolff and Grace. Then share your experiences and hard-won lessons with our exclusive group of founders and CEOs.
Here's what one forum member had to say about his experiences with Rick:
"Rick has been an extremely positive force for our company, from learning how to approach the sales process, to managing customer expectations, and more. Using his methods, we escalated an initial inquiry for $6000 worth of software into a million-dollar opportunity that we are currently focused on. He's low-key, highly adaptive, attentive, and very intelligent. He is a trusted advisor to our company.
I would strongly suggest that we all show up, and take advantage of hisexpertise in selling services and software to demanding customers across the US, across industries and across economic cycles."
