FF SIG: From Garage to Big-time
...growing from idea to reality in troubled times.
From Garage to Big-time
Where did your company first get its start? In your garage? At a local coffee house? When your company is just a few people and an idea, it can be hard to envision building it into a thriving enterprise. This month, we'll be discussing the process of taking your ideas and turning them into companies.
To help us with our discussion, we're pleased to announce our guest speakers, Sam Srinivas and Theron Tock, two of the co-founders of Neoteris. Neoteris began its life in mid-2000 as DanaStreet, after the street in Mountain View where its founders met for coffee and to discuss their proposed venture! Today, Neoteris provides "instant virtual extranets" by providing instant, secure access to selected internal network resources to a defined group of employees and partners from any Internet Web browser. This past Monday, Neoteris announced $17.5 million in Series C financing from Battery Ventures, Jim Clark, the Barksdale Group, and NEA.
As usual, we will restrict attendance to the first 20 founders and CEOs that sign up, so sign up fast!
