Emerging Tech SIG: Greasemonkey: DIY Web Improvement

  • The Monthly Meeting of the Emerging Technology SIG

    Presentation Overview

Greasemonkey is the Firefox extension at the center of the recent surge of interest in client-side modification of web pages. The official repository lists scripts which modify and integrate hundreds of sites.

In this talk we'll look at how Greasemonkey got started, where it's going, and why Greasemonkeying is good for application providers.
