    Doug Kaye, Consultant - RDS

    Presentation Overview

    Web Hosting Strategies

When Exodus -- then the largest Web-hosting vendor -- filed for bankruptcy last year, many managers took a fresh look at their Web-site outsourcing decisions. Have you reviewed your company¹s Web-hosting strategy?

    • Will your Web-hosting service survive?
    • Should you move your site to another facility?
    • How should you evaluate vendors?
    • How can you avoid lock-in and loss-of-control?
    • Should you use a Managed Service Provider (MSP)?
    • What should you look for in a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?

Come hear one of the industry's leading experts on Web technology address these questions and more at the upcoming E-Business SIG meeting. We¹ll look at where the Web-hosting market is going and how to develop an optimal Web-hosting strategy for your own company.
