    Presentation Overview

    Accounting for E-Business

Learn how the Internet is changing and enhancing the way businesses handle their accounting functions.

NetLedger, Inc. (now part of Oracle Small Business Suite) and AccPac, Inc. are addressing the needs of small- to medium-sized businesses, and especially e-businesses. They offer hosted solutions that provide online access to accounting software for businesses and accounting professionals.

Some of the questions we'll be asking the speakers include:

    • What special rules (GAAP or laws, etc.) are especially important to e-businesses?
    • How can the Internet make accounting work better, faster, or cheaper?
    • How should e-commerce be tied into accounting?

Note that next month, the E-Business SIG meeting will be a panel discussion of online payments. Watch for details.
