    TITLE:  "BI Megatrends: Directions for Business Intelligence in 2010"

    ABSTRACT:  What trends are shaping the future of BI software implementation? What aspects of information access, analysis and management are going to be most important, whether the economy in 2010 is good or bad? This talk will discuss some key “megatrends” shaping the future of BI. It will also look at the megatrends this speaker identified going into 2009 to see how those predictions and prognostications fared over the past year. Major topics to be discussed include performance management, information applications and appliances, column-oriented databases, operational intelligence and search/text analytics.
