Business Intelligence SIG: SAP's strategy for Business Planning & Consolidations





    SAP is the first vendor to offer a complete suite of applications for the Office of the CFO.  This session will focus specifically on SAP's strategy for Business Planning & Consolidations (formerly OutlookSoft) and what integration is coming with SAP NetWeaver BI.  SAP recently  announced the next steps in the acquisition of Business Objects which was the market leader in Business Intelligence.  SAP and Business Objects will focus on delivering performance optimization and business intelligence solutions that are open to any and all underlying data warehouse and transactional applications.  Learn about the initial joint offerings and how SAP and Business Objects plan to expand their leadership in the market for business user solutions specifically around business intelligence.

    Katis' is Vice President of the Enterprise Performance Management Regional Implementation Group (RIG) for Americas and Asia Pacific Japan at Business Objects, an SAP company. He's responsible for the Financial Performance Management (FPM) Suite including Strategy  Management (formerly Pilot), Business Planning and Consolidations (formerly OutlookSoft), Business Profitability Management, and Operational Performance Management (OPM) Suite including Spend Analytics (ASA) and Supply Chain Performance Management (xSCPM).

    Prior to this Bryan was Director in the SAP NetWeaver RIG Americas at SAP Labs responsible for Enterprise Information Management and Process Integration. He has more than nine years of experience working with SAP NetWeaver BI and has been the lead SAP NetWeaver BI consultant on more than a dozen strategic customer projects including Coca-Cola, Kodak, Colgate-Palmolive, Nike and Georgia-Pacific. Bryan was the lead consultant on the first customer projects to implement the pilot releases of BW, SEM-BCS and SEM-BPS, and he worked directly with development to define the products.
