Leveraging Performance Management for Organizational Excellence
The mandate to operate at an optimal performance level and meet financial and organizational expectations is transforming the way organizations do business. Companies are searching for ways to bring IT investments in line with their most critical business priorities. This quest has created a shift from transaction-centric to information-centric approaches that offer collaboration and information and so drive actionable decisions throughout organizations. This focus is the impetus behind a new class of software capabilities evolving from the roots of Business Intelligence (BI) and decision support. These capabilities help organizations manage performance in a methodical and coordinated manner.
This session will examine the following:
- The evolution of Business Intelligence to Performance Management and its critical impact for organizations
- The process and methodology of performance management for business and how to align technology investments effectively
- The role of BI in business activity monitoring and process management for improving the factors and results of operational performance
