The Enterprise Analytical Platform: Hyperion Essbase
With the growth of data from both the Internet and operational ERP & CRM systems, companies today are developing analytical and business intelligence strategies for their enterprises. Enterprise organizations are actively evaluating and moving in the direction of deploying an Analytical Platform/Decision Support Infrastructure to enable business users across their organizations to rapidly respond to and make decisions regarding what happens now and what may happen in the future in their business environment.
An Analytical Platform is not necessarily new; however, it is important to understand the enterprise Analytical/Business Intelligence Platform in today's marketplace. If companies are to provide analytics to their end-users with a single common view of information, they need a platform that provides the ability to scale to meet the present and future requirements of the end-users.
This presentation will discuss the requirements of today's enterprise organizations for an analytic platform and provide an overview of the Hyperion Essbase Analytical Platform in this context.
