    Presentation Overview

Balanced Scorecard – Knowledge Workers Delivering on Management's Strategy

Measuring a company's success with its financial accounting records has been the traditional method – but that does not work any more! With the economy being what it is today, short term decisions are being made to make the numbers looks good to Wall Street. This affects its people, its technology, its processes and its long term organizational health. Want a new approach? Consider the Balanced Scorecard as a compliment to your business efforts to ensure that your Knowledge Workers are delivering on the Management Team's Strategic Direction.

This talk will use 2 case studies of companies which implemented the Balanced Scorecard and the business benefits that they achieved. The speaker will share practical advice on how to get started on defining the 4 essential areas of "balanced focus": Customers, Internal Processes, Learning & Growth and, yes, Financial. Are your people doing the right thing every day for the business? A Balanced Scorecard Project Model will be shared with example measures for thinking through your own businesses.
