Ms. Leopold Tilley focuses on the representation of technology companies in securities and venture capital transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings, venture funds and joint ventures. She has significant experience representing entrepreneurs and venture capitalists as well as acquirers and target companies. Ms. Leopold Tilley is on the Managing Board of the Firm and is co-leader of the Southeast Asia team.
Ms. Leopold Tilley has represented a wide variety of companies ranging from start-ups and emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, venture capital firms and other clients. Her securities and general corporate representation includes work with a number of public and private companies including: WebEx, Inc., Atheros Communications, Ikanos, SiRF Technology, SYNNEX Corporation, Inphi, Apigee, Xambala, Cloud.com and Encore Career Institute. Ms. Leopold Tilley's venture fund representation includes work with a number of VC funds, including: Walden International, The Mayfield Fund, Accel Partners, Foundation Capital, NewPath Ventures, FBR CoMotion Venture Capital, Zap Ventures, and Granite Global Ventures.
Ms. Leopold Tilley has also been involved in numerous merger and acquisition transactions, representing both sellers and purchasers. Representative transactions include: the sale of Atheros to Qualcomm, the sale of LitePoint to Terradyne, the sale of Cloud.com to Citrix, the sale of WebEx to Cisco; the sale of Ankeena to Juniper; the acquisition of Centrality by SiRF; the acquisitions of Intellon, Orbit and of u-Nav by Atheros; and numerous other mergers.
Ms. Leopold Tilley is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, the Board of Directors of Watermark and is former Co-Chair of their Advisory Board. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Women's Leadership Network and also a member of the Advisory Board of Women in Law Empowerment Forum. Ms. Leopold Tilley is a frequent speaker at events for the Stanford Graduate School of Business, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, UC Davis School of Business and SVForum.
