Presentation and Pitch Session: Come listen and pitch to TiE LaunchPad
About TiE LaunchPad: TiE LaunchPad is an accelerator begun by TiE for enterprise-focused startups. They accept up to 8 companies per batch for a 5 month program run at TiE Silicon Valley in Santa Clara, CA. The program is operated, mentored and funded by TiE Charter Members, some of the most accomplished tech executives in Silicon Valley. The core focus of the program is to help enterprise startups validate their business and prepare for their first round of funding. It is a unique combination of minds, money, and market access.
We will select up to 8 ventures to do 3-minute pitches followed by 3 minutes of feedback.

Speaker: Prashant Shah
Prashant Shah is Managing Director of TiE LaunchPad, an accelerator for enterprise startups. He is also an active Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley (www.tiesv.org), a member of its Board of Directors, and on the TiE Angels steering committee. Prashant Shah has been an early stage venture investor since 2001. Previously, he was with Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, an early stage VC focused on enterprise and infrastructure software. Prior to Hummer Winblad, Prashant spent many years defining and launching high tech products. His background spans all seven layers of the OSI stack with product management roles at enCommerce (acquired by Entrust), Cypress Semiconductor and AT&T. Prashant received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Moderator: John Lee, Vice President, Entrepreneur Services Group, Silicon Valley Bank
John Lee is a vice president in SVB's Entrepreneur Services Group. He establishes banking relationships with early stage technology companies. He also assists early and growth-stage technology companies with raising capital through review of investment materials and introductions to investors including angels, venture capital firms, and corporate venture funds. In addition, he provides market insights and connections to strategic partners including corporate development and IT groups. John focuses on enterprise and infrastructure software sectors including cloud computing and SaaS, big data and analytics, security, mobile platforms and applications, and advertising technology, and hardware sectors including semiconductors, mobile computing and consumer electronic devices, and data center systems, storage, and networks. John holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
