    There appears to be a new incubator or accelerator launching daily in Silicon Valley, but how is an entrepreneur to know which one to choose to partner with--or to use them at all? Come listen to a panel of expert entrepreneurs and incubator/accelerator operators as they explore this timely and important topic for Silicon Valley tech entrepreneurs.

    Jean Tripier, CEO – Flyr

    Jean Tripier is an experienced tech leader, having been the CEO of Worldmate (sold to Carlson Wagonlit), COO of Good Technology and Visto, EVP at Voafone and COO of Vodafone Romani.   Jean has deep startup and angel investor experience and he has negotiated deals with incubators and accelerators for companies he was on the management team of and as an advisor to startups.

    Stuart Bagshaw, Chief Executive British American Business LEAP, LLC

    As Chief Executive of BAB-LEAP, Stuart is focused on helping overseas-based companies successfully establish a presence in the United States. His many years experience in engineering, sales, marketing and general management within the computer industry in the USA, Europe, and Asia, uniquely qualifies him to help management teams through the process of a successful market entry. Prior to founding the LEAP (Land Expand Accelerator Program), Stuart held a number of key leadership positions, including CEO, COO, President and General Manager, of several public and privately held technology companies, including Apple, Sequent, Xerox, Gemplus and ILOG. Stuart started his career in the Royal Air Force, where he gained his engineering qualifications in communications and computer systems.

    Kent Lindstrom, Chief Operating Officer of Nuzzel  –

    Nuzzel was launched within the San Francisco based Founder’s Den incubator by Jonathan Abrams (Founder of Friendster).   Prior to Nuzzel, Kent was COO for New Context, a global agile software development firm and a subsidiary of Digital Garage, the company founded by Joi Ito.  Previously, Kent was CEO of Spot a provider of a subscription-based local diner’s membership service. Prior to that, Kent was CEO of the social network Friendster, where he had been CFO since its inception. Prior to taking the position of CEO, he served as Friendster’s CFO from March 2003 to Jan 2006. Kent joined Friendster in 2002 as one of the company’s first employees. Before Friendster, he was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in strategic planning and finance. He left Deloitte & Touche in his partnership year to join NetRead as its first President. Kent holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

    Munir Jawed, CEO – Plentyy

    Fulbright Scholar and CEO of Plentyy, Munir Jawed is a San Francisco-based serial entrepreneur and expert in hyperlocal commerce for SMBs.  He has extensive startup experience in a variety of geographies nationwide, with a deep passion for solving policy problems with innovative technology platforms.  Having negotiated deals for several companies with both incubators and angel investors, Munir has a keen perspective on the fundraising experience of the entrepreneur in different locáles.
