Presentation and Pitch Session: Come listen and pitch to Orange Fab
Orange Fab is a selective 12-week accelerator program, created by Orange Silicon Valley (OSV). The mentors provide guidance, support, and help ease participants into accessing one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world. Orange Fab is intended for U.S.-based start-ups with an existing product that could benefit from accessing Orange's distribution channels, markets, executives expertise and global footprint. OSV is the Bay Area division of one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators. The people of Orange Silicon Valley actively participate in the revolutionary innovations that are changing the way we communicate- the core business of Orange (previously known as France Telecom Group). They contribute to and engage with Silicon Valley’s ecosystem in a variety of different ways.
We will select up to 8 ventures to do 3-minute pitches followed by 3 minutes of feedback.

Speaker: Diaine Pascale, Evangelist, Orange Silicon Valley
As the Evangelist for Orange Silicon Valley, Diaine engages actively with the Bay Area ecosystem to collaborate on initiatives showcasing emerging technologies, initiate strategic partnerships, learn from the innovative best practices in the Silicon Valley, as well as promote Orange’s presence and brand locally. Her extensive networking activity over the past 6 years has positioned Orange strategically in the Silicon Valley and generated access to several world class thought-leaders, influencers, journalists, and emerging companies. She received her Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Technology at Compiègne (UTC), in 2002.
Speaker: Guillaume Payan, Product Manager, Orange Silicon Valley
Guillaume Payan is a Senior Product Manager in the Consumer group of Orange Silicon Valley. He is responsible for identifying and developing new products and services in the television, second screen and content spaces. Guillaume’s areas of expertise include television, gaming and transmedia. Prior to joining Orange, Guillaume was a project manager at Bouygues Telecom US Office in San Jose, CA where he identified potential business partners for Bouygues Telecom in France. Guillaume holds a Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Science in Lyon, France and graduated from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France with a Specialized Master in International Business.
Moderator: John Lee, Vice President, Entrepreneur Services Group, Silicon Valley Bank
John Lee is a vice president in SVB's Entrepreneur Services Group. He establishes banking relationships with early stage technology companies. He also assists early and growth-stage technology companies with raising capital through review of investment materials and introductions to investors including angels, venture capital firms, and corporate venture funds. In addition, he provides market insights and connections to strategic partners including corporate development and IT groups. John focuses on enterprise and infrastructure software sectors including cloud computing and SaaS, big data and analytics, security, mobile platforms and applications, and advertising technology, and hardware sectors including semiconductors, mobile computing and consumer electronic devices, and data center systems, storage, and networks. John holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
